The Kibweni Site is home to the historic Kibweni Palace (Beit el-Kasrusaada), located just north of Stone Town along the west coast of Unguja Island, Zanzibar. Built in 1915 as a country residence for Sultan Khalifa II, the palace is known for its blend of Swahili, Arab, and European architectural styles. Although not generally open to the public, it remains a significant heritage site and is occasionally used for official state functions. The area is also known for its proximity to spice farms and offers glimpses of colonial and royal history in Zanzibar.
